For more than 25 years I have been working for Lufthansa including many years for Lufthansa Systems. After I had gained first experiences in application programming I specialized on user interfaces, because I have always been interested to get into direct contact with users and find out what they need. Consequently my career path took me into the communication and marketing department. My main focus is on internal communications and I am editor-in-chief for our intranet e. g. But I also take care for the contents and administration of Lufthansa Systems' internet and social media channels.

My passion is to get into challenging topics and that is why I have a great interest in Direct Distribution (NDC & One Order) and its consequences for the aviation world. Studying Information Technology in the dual study program of Lufthansa Systems was my first step into aviation. Since then I have been working on several different aviation related topics and projects for various Lufthansa subsidiaries. With a total of 6 years of experience within Lufthansa and the area of aviation IT, I have gathered profound knowledge especially in Distribution and Ancillary Services. Furthermore, I have gained project management as well as analytic skills not only through several project lead roles but also through my master degree in IT Management that I successfully graduated alongside my job at Lufthansa Systems.
