Newest version of Lido mPilot improves flight safety through advanced weather forecasting

Thunderstorms and turbulence(s) pose a great danger to aviation and can become a problem for pilots. In recognition of the critical need for accurate forecasts, Lufthansa Systems has introduced new features in its latest version of its mobile navigation solution Lido mPilot. With this update, pilots are able to access 12-hour forecasts for both turbulence and icing. These forecasts are seamlessly integrated into the enroute chart, as well as in the newly introduced vertical profile display.
