Congratulations to Air Arabia, MENA’s first and largest low-cost airline, who went live with the MRO solution mid November 2020! The airline’s hubs in the United Arab Emirates, Morocco and Egypt are now using the AMOS Airline/MRO Edition productively to support all their light and heavy maintenance processes along with component shops. AMOS is also assisting Air Arabia teams with Multi-Entity capabilities as well as the airline’s main maintenance hangar in Sharjah that now benefit from fully integrated AMOSmobile/EXEC functions.
Swiss-AS and Lufthansa Systems are proud of this accomplishment in these turbulent times and are delighted to accompany the MENA region’s leading low-cost carrier in their journey to connect the Arab world with Africa, Asia and Europe. The implementation project had a tight timeline, which despite the difficult circumstances (including travel bans) was maintained.
Alex Shipulin, CAMO/MRO Senior Consultant at Lufthansa Systems, concludes: “It was my pleasure to work in this project as part of a very motivated AirArabia team. Looking back, I can say that this project was one of the most dynamic and joyful projects I ever had, because of AirArabia’s organizational culture, the entire Project team starting from the management through all organization up to the end-users, always worked for the benefits of the organization. During this project, in the difficult time of Covid-19, we all learned and developed new ways of communication, change management, process improvement and integration. The project was very well managed by Natalya Nabokhih, administrated by Don Sunny and supported by Fadi Mohammed. I would like to thank entire AirArabia team for accepting me in the project family.”
