Swiss International Air Lines and Edelweiss Air took the next step into the future by running their operations control on the cloud-based NetLine/Ops ++ Operations Management Platform developed and operated by Lufthansa Systems. The carriers operate on a group-wide platform running on Lufthansa Systems’ cloud delivery service Global Aviation Cloud. The successful go-live of the two airlines is another step towards harmonizing the IT in operations control within the Lufthansa Group.
With the cutover of Lufthansa Cargo in November and the recent go-live of SWISS and Edelweiss, three Lufthansa Group airlines are now running on the group-wide NetLine/Ops ++ cloud platform. One major advantage of NetLine/Ops ++ is the possibility of integrated management through multiple Lufthansa Operations Control Centers (OCC). The carriers benefit from extensive functionalities and harmonized processes that ultimately improve the passenger experience within the group.
