This valuable functionality automatically recognizes critical passenger connections, analyzes them, and recommends the best corrective action based on a cost-benefit analysis – all in real time! The corrective actions – so-called steering activities – can be individually defined for each hub. Each steering activity is represented by an icon, which indicates in an intuitive way its availability and profitability. If more attributes (effect, costs, etc.) are needed, a detail view can be opened by a simple mouse click.
The recommendation of profitable steering activities enables your hub managers to respond faster and more systematically in order to save critical passenger transfer situations caused by schedule deviations. Thus higher customer satisfaction is achieved in the most profitable way.
The steering activities are supported by individually defined workflows and to-do lists. The latter show each team member his specific tasks assigned and provide transparency regarding their actual workflow status. They can also be also utilized to involve external providers (e.g. dispatcher for bus services or direct ramp transfer services) in the current workflow procedures. This will significantly speed up any irregularity handling because it improves the seamless interplay of all involved parties.
