The Advanced Passenger Information Task Force (APITF) consists of experts from reservations, PADIS, airport operations, facilitation, passenger and baggage processing, passenger services standards, passenger agency standards, GDSs and ARINC/SITA and other companies participating in the IATA Partnership Programs.
This multi-disciplinary group, which is established by the Joint ATA/IATA Passenger Services Conference (JPSC) reviews the latest government requirements for the provision of advanced passenger information (API).
Further tasks of the APITF are identifying and starting the development of industry standards to facilitate the accurate collection and transmission to authorities of API data as well as developing guidelines regarding the collection of data for carrier's online services.
