The IATA E-Ticketing Working Group was merged with the Ticketing Committee at the end of 2005. This working group has brought together airline experts from different process areas with the aim of harmonizing the ticketing and e-ticketing processes and the standards this necessitates for the airline industry. One of the focal points is that only electronic tickets are to be used worldwide as from 2008. As a strategic partner we actively support the e-ticketing goals as part of the IATA initiative "Simplifying the Business".
