In a further subgroup of the CUSSMG, experts have developed a standard for barcodes. Established standards will allow passengers to print out their boarding cards even before they reach the airport, e.g. at home or in the office. The aim is to replace the cost-intensive, magnetic-strip boarding card pouches quickly with cards that use barcode technology. As a strategic partner, we actively support the goals of the Bar Coded Boarding Pass (BCBP) sub-initiative within the IATA initiative "Simplifying the Business".
