The purpose of the IATA initiative "Simplifying Passenger Travel" is to simplify the handling process for passengers. Experts from airlines, airports, handling companies, security authorities and technology suppliers work jointly on forward-looking solutions. With our government-supported project "S3 – Security from Seat to Seat" we are pursuing a very similar objective while adding the aspect of passenger and process security by means of biometry. As a member of the STP program we participate actively in the regularly held conferences and the coordination of a passenger-friendly, economic and secure passenger handling process for the future.
