Croatia Airlines plans codeshare flights using SchedConnect from Lufthansa Systems
Croatia Airlines has decided to optimize its codeshare schedules by deploying Lufthansa Systems' SchedConnect solution. SchedConnect will become operational as the central schedule database at Croatia Airlines from April 2008. The contract signed by the Croatian carrier will initially run for five years.
Croatia Airlines currently has nine codeshare partners and already manages more than 50,000 individual codeshare relationships. Using SchedConnect will enable the carrier to benefit from the seamless and continuous exchange of data that takes place between all partners and systems involved in flight planning. SchedConnect is the most advanced system of its kind available today. It optimizes codeshare agreements in real time, accelerates the synchronization of such flights and enables the simulation of new codeshare agreements to expand the Star Alliance member's existing network.
