ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt from Lufthansa Systems makes its way into the Russian market
Russian airline UTair will optimize its revenue management processes using ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt from Lufthansa Systems. The airline has signed a five-year contract to this effect in late February. The advanced IT solution will enable UTair to optimize its pricing system and thus increase revenues.
ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt has been specifically designed with the needs of regional airlines in mind. The system covers all core processes of revenue management – from data loading and demand forecasting to optimizing availability data. The system puts UTair in a position to recognize market opportunities at an early stage and react faster to market changes than its competitors.
Based in Tjumen, Siberia, the airline was founded in 1991 under the name Tyumenaviatrans Aviation and renamed UTair in 2003. With its fleet of 89 aircraft, the carrier currently serves more than 30 destinations in Russia and neighboring countries. UTair is one of the leading passenger and charter airlines in Russia. In addition to cargo flights, UTair also offers helicopter flights within Siberia.
