Lufthansa Systems optimizes Finnair´s medium and long-term flight planning
In its ongoing cooperation with Lufthansa Systems, Finnair will continue to optimize its network planning by using NetLine/Plan. The IT solution supports the airline in developing, managing and evaluating long- and medium-term airline schedule scenarios. NetLine/Plan allows to analyze intended flight plan changes and to optimize network planning. Finnair has been among Lufthansa Systems’ customers since 1997 and uses a variety of modern solutions in the field of route planning and revenue accounting.
Finnair was established in 1923 and is one of the world's oldest operating airlines, Finnair's route network covers over 75 destinations in Europe, the Far East, North America, India and Australia. In 2006 Finnair carried nearly 9 million passengers.
