Cargo B Airlines uses FMS database from Lufthansa Systems
The Belgian start-up Cargo B Airlines has become the latest customer for Lufthansa Systems' Flight Management System (FMS). Over 140 customers are now using the FMS database from Lufthansa Systems.
The FMS database contains all important route information, including altitudes and airport data for optimizing the flight route and supporting the autopilot on board modern aircraft. This worldwide flight data is updated monthly for each route and aircraft. Every critical piece of aeronautical data has been integrated in the system, including information on airports, airways, waypoints along the route and at the destination, navaids, and holding and approach procedures.
Cargo B Airlines is based in Brussels and began flight operations in October. The cargo airline will fly to destinations in the Middle and Far East, Africa and South America.
