Finnair takes further step towards Lufthansa Systems’ Sirax AirFinance Platform
Finnair will optimize its accounting processes for credit card sales with SiraxCredit from Lufthansa Systems. Since November 2005, Finnair has been using the revenue accounting solution Sirax from Lufthansa Systems. With its decision for a further Sirax module, the airline heads for Lufthansa Systems’ Sirax AirFinance Platform - the first integrated platform to support and optimize all the finance processes of an airline.
SiraxCredit allows accurate, fast and highly automated accounting and invoicing of credit card ticket sales and EDD (Electronic Direct Debit). Other credit card sales, such as in-flight sales and cargo business, can also be settled via SiraxCredit. The solution ensures quick settlement with the credit card companies and supports the processing of claims from card holders. A database records all the settled transactions, including their change history, and makes them available for online queries and analyses. SiraxCredit can be used together with Lufthansa Systems´ revenue accounting solution as well as stand alone with any SAP FI system.
