FMS database from Lufthansa Systems gains additional customers in Russia
Lufthansa Systems’ FMS database has attracted three new customers in Russia during the last two months. SkyExpress, Vladivostock Air and AirBridgeCargo Airlines have joined over 130 airlines worldwide that currently benefit from Lufthansa Systems’ comprehensive navigation data for cockpit systems.
The FMS database contains all important route information including altitude and airport information to optimize the flight route and guide the autopilot on board of modern planes. The content, which consists of worldwide aeronautical data, is adjusted each cycle to the planned operating area of the aircraft. A complete aeronautical coverage consisting of all elements needed in aviation today has been included in the FMS database, covering, but not limited to, airport information, airways, terminal and enroute waypoints, navaids, holding and approach procedures, etc.
