Agreement strengthens the long-term cooperation between the two companies
Lufthansa Systems and BBT Thermotechnik GmbH recently signed a contract for the hosting and operation of SAP systems until the year 2011. This means Lufthansa Systems will continue to be responsible for the secure, stable operation of critical applications for production, sales, finance and controlling, as well as the reporting and customer information systems of BBT Thermotechnik. Up to 3,000 employees access the data in these systems every day.

"Lufthansa Systems is a partner we trust who offers us solid technological expertise at prices which are in line with the market." Lufthansa Systems has been responsible for the entire data center operations and WAN services for the brand Buderus of the leading European heating products and water heater manufacturer since 1996. In 2000, Lufthansa Systems also took over the development of SAP applications for the brand Buderus.
