BMED uses Passenger Management System from Lufthansa Systems
Lufthansa Systems has successfully migrated British Mediterranean Airways (BMED) to its Passenger Management System (PMS). Following the takeover of BMED by bmi, all 17 BMED destinations were successfully transferred to the Lufthansa Systems’ Passenger Management System. Since the start of the winter timetable, all bmi and BMED flights have been managed by using the PMS from Lufthansa Systems.
The Passenger Management System addresses all airline-relevant core processes such as reservation, inventory, ticketing and boarding, thereby enabling any kind of airline – regardless of size and business model – to optimize its central processes.
A long-standing customer of Lufthansa Systems and the second-largest airline to be based at London Heathrow, bmi serves a dense network of domestic, international and intercontinental destinations.
