airBaltic selects Lufthansa Systems’ ProfitLine for Revenue Management Latvian national airline airBaltic signed a contract with Lufthansa Systems for the implementation of ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt as its future revenue management solution.
airBaltic will join a growing community of low fare airlines relying on ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt to optimize their revenues. "ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt offers just the right set of functions to control the fares offered on the increasing number of flights we operate in the low-cost model. We now look forward to seeing the benefits of our new system very soon," says airBaltic president Bertolt Flick.
airBaltic operates direct flights out of two Baltic State capitals - Riga and Vilnius with a fleet of sixteen Boeing 737-500 and Fokker-50aircraft. After 10 years of continued growth, with a 76% increase in passenger numbers in the year 2005 alone, airBaltic has become the major player in its region.
