Lufthansa Systems partners with Royal Jordanian to optimize revenue accounting
Royal Jordanian carrier will rely on Sirax, the airline industry solution developed by Lufthansa Revenue Services and Lufthansa Systems, to optimize its revenue accounting processes. It supports Royal Jordanian by delivering improved quality and control of their accounting processes and increased productivity due to the higher degree of automation.
After Finnair’s recent adoption of the system, Royal Jordanian is now following suit. The carrier has been elected on board oneworld also, effective from around the turn of 2006/2007. The system is the only standard revenue accounting system to fulfil the oneworld requirements and offers excellent reporting options. This will allow the airline to fully benefit from the advantages of the alliance membership. The system will be provided under a licensing model and a five-year maintenance contract will complement the deal.
This agreement signifies the first step in a long-term cooperation to optimize Royal Jordanian’s IT systems. Founded in 1963 as Alia, Royal Jordanian was among the first airlines in the region and can today boast one of the youngest fleets around. Known for its high standards, the carrier relies on the most advanced technology available. |
