Lufthansa Systems on the way to a paperless freight management
Lufthansa Systems has introduced a new feature to its ELWIS (Electronic Logistics & Warehouse Information System) cargo handling system. The solution now enables its users to send all invoices to airlines, forwarders or other customers by e-mail. Instead of printing paper invoices, ELWIS users can generate invoices in PDF format and send them to their customers automatically. This ELWIS extension has been developed jointly by Lufthansa Systems and its largest German customer, the Cologne/Bonn airport.
