Cargo handling at the new Airport in Bangkok with ELWIS from Lufthansa Systems
Thai Airports Ground Services (TAGS) has decided to deploy the ELWIS cargo handling system in the free trade zone at the new airport in Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi Airport). This is first time that ELWIS will be implemented at an airport in the Asian market.

Air Bosna signs on with Lufthansa Systems as new hosting customer
Air Bosna has signed a contract with Lufthansa Systems for hosting services. Following the migration to the new system at end of June, core processes such as sales, ticketing and passenger processing will be automated. All data from reservation to departure will then be constantly updated and can be retrieved at any time.

New rostering for Braathens with Lufthansa Systems’ NetLine
Aiming to improve their service quality, Braathens, Norway’s largest airline, has opted for the PrefOptimizer NetLine/Crew module. Crew members can enter their personal preferences for a given bidding period in PrefOptimizer, e.g. for flights to specific destinations, night stops and layovers, weekend duties, or early/ late check-in, etc.

Air Seychelles opts for Airport Obstacle Database from Lufthansa Systems
Lufthansa Systems and Air Seychelles have signed a contract for the IT provider's proven Lido Airport Obstacle database. Thanks to speedy contract negotiations and a short delivery period, Air Seychelles can immediately benefit from the database. The Lido Airport Obstacle database contains all relevant information required for applications to determine take-off performance data. Every airport data set comes with a customized engine-out procedure, Engine Out Standard Instrument Departures (EOSIDs). These procedures are analyzed for optimum results in terms of payload and safety, taking into account obstacles as well as engine/airframe combinations. Air Seychelles was particularly satisfied with the high quality and excellent service provided by Lufthansa Systems.

Successful migration: TACA manages core processes with solutions from Lufthansa Systems
Since the end of April, the Latin American airline TACA has been using Lufthansa Systems solutions in several key business areas. Following the successful inventory migration, all passenger-related processes, such as reservations and check-in, are now hosted centrally. Additionally, Lufthansa Systems implemented a next generation revenue management system at TACA.
