Another chapter has been added to the success story of Lufthansa Systems' route planning solution Lido Operations Center (Lido OC). With Air Nostrum, the leader in Spain's regional aviation and one of the bigger regional airlines in Europe has decided to take advantage of Lufthansa Systems' expertise in the field of Airline Flight Support.

Lufthansa Systems operates data center for Herlitz Group
Lufthansa Systems will provide core data center services for Mercoline GmbH, the IT service provider
of Herlitz PBS AG. The decision in favor of Lufthansa Systems was made after a comprehensive bidding
process involving more than ten leading IT service providers. According to the new, five-year contract,
Lufthansa Systems will start operating the systems from December of this year.

Styrian Spirit opts for network management solution from Lufthansa Systems
The Austrian airline has selected two NetLine products that are especially designed to support small to mid-size airlines. Using the NetLine solutions will enable the carrier to optimize its resource planning and control processes. Accounting-relevant data is matched with production data from NetLine/Ops to guarantee an effective, reliable, and highly flexible analysis of route profitability. The additional module MaintenanceControl creates a link between NetLine/Ops and different maintenance and engineering systems. Furthermore, the entire crew management process, covering all phases from pairing construction to crew rostering to crew tracking and post-flight activities, will be supported by NetLine/Crew.

FMS database from Lufthansa Systems has attracted three new customers
Fischer Air Polska, Pluna and TUI Airlines Belgium have opted for Lufthansa Systems’ Flight Management System (FMS) navigation database services, joining a worldwide customer base of more than 110 airlines. The FMS database supplies comprehensive navigation data for cockpit systems and contains important route information including altitude information and alternate airports to optimize flight planning. The content, which consists of worldwide aeronautical data, is adjusted monthly to the planned operating area of the aircraft. Lufthansa Systems guarantees that the FMS database is customized to meet the needs of the specific types of aircraft used by an airline.

Lufthansa Systems manages desktop systems of DER
(Deutsches Reisebüro) Group
Lufthansa Systems today announced that its contract to manage the IT workstations and
provide user support for Deutsche Reisebüro (DER) has been renewed for another three
years. This decision is based on a call for tenders among leading IT service providers,
which Lufthansa Systems was able to win. The new contract runs 36 months.
