Air Luxor opts for Lufthansa Systems' CusLink
Lufthansa Systems' CusLink solution is a fast, easy way to achieve
U.S. Customs AMS compliance and derive other important operational
benefits. Using ASP-based CusLink, Air Luxor, a charter and scheduled
airline based in Portugal, can expect to significantly reduce costs
while improving data quality via timely electronic filings to U.S.
Customs. The Portuguese airline can derive these benefits without
having to purchase expensive hardware and software.
CusLink enables carriers to file and amend air waybills, communicate
flight departures and store and view shipment details electronically.
The efficiency and high data quality derived helps facilitate faster
clearance. Additionally, Air Luxor can access cargo shipment status
notifications at the "wheels up" stage, concurrent with
U.S. Customs notification of a flight's departure from the last
foreign port. This, in turn, helps carriers expedite shipment pick-ups
and deliveries as well as intercept potential aircraft holds before
they pose a clearance problem. |
