Lufthansa Systems today announced the immediate availability
of Mobility Package and Mobility Audit, two competitively priced
service packages facilitating an enterprise's entry into mobile
business applications.
The new services of Lufthansa Systems address medium-sized and
large enterprises from all industries that need to integrate mobile
or remote staff into business-critical processes or exchange mobile
data with suppliers. Mobile applications also offer enormous benefits
for technical field staff and the sales force as employees can access
corporate data from anywhere, which can be of critical importance
during a sales pitch or a service visit.
Entry made easy
The new Mobility Package for medium-sized and large enterprises
comprises ten mobile terminal devices and all services required
for integration and operation, including the provision of server
capacity and connecting the mobile devices to an existing IT infrastructure.
The terminal devices used by Lufthansa Systems are modern PDA solutions
from different vendors that are tailored to their specific application
purpose. Prices for the Mobility Package start at 29 euros.
During a one-day Mobility Audit, interested company and IT managers
can experience the potential benefits offered by mobile technologies.
The consultancy service shows how mobile solutions can accelerate
existing processes and what kind of business value can be derived
from implementing them.
Gaining a competitive edge with mobile solutions
As an IT service provider, Lufthansa Systems offers all services
that are necessary to implement a mobile infrastructure from a single
source. This includes the integration of mobile terminal devices
into an existing or yet to be developed application environment
and the management of mobile solutions. Furthermore, Lufthansa Systems
provides and reliably monitors the communications infrastructure
necessary for operation. Security services round out the offer from
Lufthansa Systems: These services comprise consultancy to protect
business-critical data and the implementation of security solutions
such as firewalls or virus filters.
