Lufthansa Systems dedicates itself to aviation security
Lufthansa Systems today announced that the "S3 - Security from
Seat to Seat" consortium headed by the IT service provider has
won the bid to participate in Germany's nationwide Aviation Research
Program 2003-2007. The program is being sponsored by the Germany Federal
Ministry of Economics and Labor (BMWA). This marks the third time
that the Ministry has provided federal funding for innovative projects.

Lufthansa Systems and S-Bahn Berlin further expand their successful
cooperation
Each year, S-Bahn Berlin sells around 12.5 million tickets with the
EasyTicket cash register system from Lufthansa Systems. The electronic
cash register allows passengers to benefit from safer, faster, more
complete service. Now "external" points of sale such as
newsstands will also be connected to the system.
