Lufthansa Systems today announced that Cirrus Airlines has signed
a contract for the NetLine and ProfitLine product lines from Lufthansa
Systems. The German regional carrier will plan and control all of
its airline resources with NetLine and use the ProfitLine revenue
management systems to boost earnings.
Cirrus Airlines expanded its fleet from eight to 13 aircraft last
year. As part of this expansion, Cirrus Airlines decided to introduce
NetLine and ProfitLine to future-proof its planning and control
as well as revenue management operations.
Cirrus Airline will use the integrated NetLine product line, one
the world's leading software solutions for the airline industry,
to provide optimum support for its core processes and ensure a fast
and seamless flow of information between different processes. NetLine/Sched,
NetLine/Ops and NetLine/Crew, all of which will be deployed at Cirrus
Airlines, enable the carrier to increase the efficiency of its entire
fleet operations, respond more quickly and economically to flight
plan changes and optimize its crew management. Cirrus Airlines will
employ the ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt revenue management system
to improve its capacity utilization forecasts in order to achieve
a sustainable increase in earnings. ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt has
been designed to address the specific needs of ambitious and fast-growing
airlines like Cirrus Airlines.
"We opted for both systems, NetLine and ProfitLine, in order
to ensure our long-term competitiveness as we continue to expand
our fleet. We wanted to invest in innovative information technology
and found an ideal partner in Lufthansa Systems due to their comprehensive
expertise and experience," said Dr. Ing. Peter Clarner, CEO
of Cirrus Airlines.
NetLine and ProfitLine are used successfully by more than 45 airlines
worldwide.
