From April 26-29, 2004, Lufthansa Systems will be taking part
as an exhibitor in CeBIT Asia in Shanghai for the first time. At
the fair, the IT provider will be presenting its solutions for more
efficient business processes in the areas of aircraft maintenance
repair and overhaul (MRO).
CeBIT Asia is the industry highlight for information and communication
technology throughout the entire Asian market. This years
event, at which decision makers from all over the world will meet,
is held under the motto "Your connection to Business.
With its participation, Lufthansa Systems is underlining the high
priority of the Asian market in its corporate strategy.
The greatest challenge facing companies in the coming years is
the question of optimizing their business processes, an area on
which the solutions developed by Lufthansa Systems for the airline
and aviation industry concentrate. They range from flight planning
and scheduling, revenue management and pricing through reservations,
check-in, baggage handling, route planning and logistics all the
way to MRO.
The IT solutions presented at CeBIT Asia optimize business processes
in the area of MRO. As a longstanding SAP-partner, Lufthansa Systems
has had a significant share in developing the industry solution
SAP R/3 Aerospace and Defense. The SAP solution makes it possible
to link all parties involved in the process in a single system,
from pilot to engineer, materials planning and mechanic through
to accounting.
