Airbus and Lufthansa Systems on the way to the paperless cockpit
Airlines will soon be able to benefit from electronically generated
route maps. Airbus and Lufthansa Systems have signed a Memorandum
of Understanding on April 28th, 2004 that intends to install electronic
route manuals with dynamically generated charts on all Airbus models.
This agreement underscores Lufthansa Systems' role as a global innovator
in the field of electronic charts.

Lufthansa Systems presents its innovative IT solutions for process
optimization at CeBIT Asia 2004 in China
From April 26-29, 2004, Lufthansa Systems will be taking part as an
exhibitor in CeBIT Asia in Shanghai for the first time. At the fair,
the IT provider will be presenting its solutions for more efficient
business processes in the areas of aircraft maintenance repair and
overhaul (MRO).

Lufthansa Systems adds Spanair to its list of customers
Lufthansa Systems today announced that Spanair has signed an agreement
to deploy its integrated NetLine product line. NetLine will enable
the Spanish carrier to increase the efficiency of its entire fleet
operations, respond more quickly and economically to flight plan changes
and optimize its crew management.

Lufthansa Systems acquires first customer for new online booking
system
Lufthansa Systems today announced that the Czech low-cost airline
Smart Wings has been successfully using the Internet Booking Engine
(IBE) from Lufthansa Systems since mid-March. An essential feature
of this integrated low-cost solution is the ability to make bookings
directly online with the IBE, independent of a global distribution
system (GDS). The FrontSales solution also offered by Lufthansa Systems
can be used as an additional distribution channel for direct bookings
through a call center.
