After offering additional Lido/FMS training to our customers, ten participants, representing seven different airlines from Europe and the Middle East, travelled to Zurich on the 10th and 11th of April to attended an ARINC 424 training course.

Lido FMS training for Philippine Airlines: A Success Story
A highly successful Lido/FMS training and workshop was conducted for the Philippine Airlines by Lufthansa Systems on the 6th and 7th of July at the Philippine Airlines Training Centre. This training equipped the airline's new staff members, engineers, and flight dispatchers with basic FMS technical and working knowledge.

ARINC 424 NDB Meeting in Zurich
It’s been an honor for us at Lufthansa Systems in Zurich to host the yearly ARINC 424 NDB Meeting. We have been engaged in this working group for over a decade, improving and evolving the industry standard ARINC 424 together. The goal is to propose changes that will facilitate the pilots work and ensure a safe flight. The proposed changes at the meeting will make the standard even more fit for the future. Just to mention one example, the PBN Navigation Specification applicable for a given terminal procedure can now be encoded in ARINC 424.
