Our Check-in-System is configured to make seat selection quick and easy even for the A380. Since the great number of seats makes it impossible to display a seating chart in a single view, we have split the seat map into the main deck and the upper deck, so that your ground staff can switch back and forth.
Boarding is another critical component of smooth and successful passenger handling. In the case of the A380, it was necessary to accommodate one of the aircraft’s special features - the two passenger decks of the Airbus. With the multi-client boarding functionality, our solution is ready for this.. Uncomplicated and efficient boarding of the aircraft on multiple levels will no longer be a challenge for you.
More passengers also means more luggage. The world’s largest passenger aircraft will easily collect 1,000 pieces of luggage, which must be planned in the weight and balance system. We have enhanced our NetLine/Load solution so that we are able to accommodate the significantly higher passenger and luggage counts in the correct calculation of the starting weight as well as the maximum payload. With a maximum starting weight of 569 tons and a payload of more than 150 tons, the A380 breaks through into a new dimension. We are ready for it!
