Revenue Integrity minimizes the difference between calculated and actually achieved revenue. Traditional reservation systems enable their customers to reserve several seats until a final decision is taken. In the meantime, seats remain blocked and cannot be booked by other customers. In addition, charges are made for GDSs which are then to be paid by the airlines, without any actual counter value in the form of an issued ticket.
Overall, this results in a high loss of revenue as seats either remain blocked or are released to late for sale.
Key features
- Flight Firming module: Identifies bookings for which no ticket is issued in the defined time frame and deletes them
- Dupe Check module: Detects possible duplicate bookings, e.g. for several consecutive days or different airports in one city
- Pax Watch module: Ensures greater security. The booking lists are checked for particular names compiled by the immigration authorities or the airline itself. If a match is found the airline receives notification and can then decide on whether or not to carry the passenger. These measures comply with the official regulations applying to flights to the USA, for example.
