Additional modules include
Lido/Flight AOS
Based on the highly complex Lido/Flight algorithms, the Airline Operations Support (AOS) module supports dispatchers by automating the flight planning process. Taking into account applicable regulations, airlines can either partially or fully automate their processes for calculating and optimizing flight plans and distributing briefing packets to pilots.
Lido/Flight Briefing
Electronic briefing packages ensure that pilots promptly receive the customized briefing packages they need for their next flights, regardless of where they are in the world. They may access operational and ATC flight plans, fuel summaries, weather charts, satellite pictures, NOTAMs, and other information via the Internet. The airline may also add customer-specific information according to its needs.
Lido/Flight InflightMonitor
Flight plans are usually completed two to four hours prior to departure. But what happens when new flight-related information – such as weather warnings or airport closings – becomes available shortly before departure, or even during a flight? The InflightMonitor continually checks for notifications relevant to all flights which have been calculated but not yet completed and reports them to the dispatcher.
Lido/Flight FreeFlight
The FreeFlight module is primarily applicable in free flight airspaces. It plans the most efficient trajectory for each flight based on the current weather and airspace situation. It automatically generates a dense carpet containing millions of artificial waypoints and segments in order to optimize flight paths by using geographical coordinates instead of waypoints and radio beacons.
Lido/Flight TakeOff
Our Take-Off performance module allows the dispatcher to calculate the maximum allowed take-off weight, considering airport obstacle data, aircraft and weather data. Just before take-off the pilot also can send a take-off request including the final weight, aircraft configuration, and meteorological conditions via data link to Lido/Flight and will then receive a comprehensive set of optimized take-off parameters.
Lido/Flight Landing
The Landing module combines airport and aircraft-relevant data for an integrated landing performance calculation. It allows the dispatcher to calculate the maximum allowed landing weight for the destination and the alternates for the chosen aircraft and aircraft configuration.
Lido/Flight TFR (Traffic Flow Restrictions)
Automating your flight planning with our TFR module (TFR - Traffic Flow Restrictions) opens up a host of new route options as it considers partly restricted airways. It calculates the most effective combination of airways between origin and destination.
