For optimal flight operations, airlines require high-quality data and extensive system support. Lufthansa Systems offers innovative IT solutions to support operational processes in the cockpit. These solutions are integrated in an Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) known as the Lido/FlightBag.
The Lido/FlightBag optimizes information processes in the cockpit and meets the strict requirements for information quality and processing speed. It integrates a variety of applications for the paperless planning and execution of flights. The individual modules draw on a shared database and exchange information amongst themselves. This guarantees that uniform information is available throughout the entire flight. The Lido/FlightBag also enables online access to current operational data and other important flight-related documents.
The EFB solution from Lufthansa Systems can be used regardless of the hardware or aircraft model. It can run as a Class 1 solution on notebooks, or it can be permanently installed in the cockpit as a Class 2 solution or integrated with a Class 3 onboard information solution. The Lido/FlightBag not only helps reduce the amount of paper in the cockpit, it is also more flexible, cost-efficient and powerful than solutions which can only be used in certain aircraft.

The Library Document Viewer facilitates the electronic display of general operations manuals, the Minimum Equipment List (MEL) and all other flight-specific documents.
