Norbert Müller took over as Senior Vice President of Sales Asia/Pacific for Lufthansa Systems, effective July 01, 2007. He succeeds Ralf Cabos, who headed the Asian branch of the company since 2002.
Mr. Müller was Head of Strategic Projects at Sales EMEA/South. In his new capacity, based in Singapore, he will manage all marketing, sales and business development activities of Lufthansa Systems in Asia, Australia and the Pacific. He reports directly to Dr. Gunter Küchler, Member of the Executive Board of Lufthansa Systems AG. At the same time,
Mr. Müller took over as Chief Executive Officer of Lufthansa Systems Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd.
Norbert Müller joined the Lufthansa Group in 1987. After his graduation as a mathematical-technical assistant, he worked in several positions as an application development specialist and in product management, among others. During this time, he was responsible for the development of the pricing tool “ProfitLine/Price“ and its implementation for a number of customer airlines. Furthermore he was instrumental in the introduction of the operations control system at Lufthansa. In 2001, Norbert Müller took over as head of the Network Control & Decision Support department of what was then Lufthansa Systems Airline Services GmbH. A year later, he moved to sales, where he has held several senior management positions.
