Nouvelair opts for Lido RouteManual from Lufthansa Systems
The Tunisian charter airline Nouvelair will be using the navigation charts from Lufthansa Systems (Lido RouteManual) on its flights. A five-year contract to this effect was signed recently. Nouvelair has been a FMS customer of Lufthansa Systems for several years.
The Lido RouteManual offers navigation charts that are generated from the Lido navigation database, which contains worldwide aeronautical information as well as comprehensive geographical data. The charts display true-to-scale topographical information, such as the height of mountains and the course of rivers. This enables pilots to calculate exactly the time needed to complete certain flight sections and take-off and landing procedures.
Nouvelair is part of the Tunisian Travel Service Group and is based in Monastir, Tunisia. With its fleet of 14 aircraft, the charter carriers serves more than 120 destinations in 33 countries in Europe, the Maghreb, the Middle East and the rest of Africa. Nouvelair carries an average of 1.5 million passengers per year.
