Atlas Blue signs contract for revenue management solution with Lufthansa Systems
Atlas Blue, the low-cost subsidiary of Royal Air Maroc, has selected ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt as its new revenue management solution. Thanks to a close integration with Lufthansa Systems’ inventory and internet booking system already in use by Atlas Blue, the sophisticated IT solution will enable the Moroccan airline to take full advantage of the market opportunities generated by its low fares.
In line with a policy change from mainly charter operations to a genuine low fare sales approach, Atlas Blue identified the need for revenue management capabilities to support the new business model. "ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt offers just the right set of functions to implement the new price strategies and to monitor price developments of our competitors. We now look forward to seeing the benefits of our new system in the upcoming summer season," says Karim Benchekroun, Commercial Director of Atlas Blue. In order to protect its low cost structures, Atlas Blue opted to take advantage of Lufthansa Systems' server hosting services for the operation of ProfitLine/Yield Rembrandt.
