TravelSky and Lufthansa Systems join forces to bring state-of-the-art solutions to Chinese travel market
Travelsky, the leading Chinese global distribution system (GDS) and provider of integrated solutions for air travel and tourism industries based in Beijing, and Lufthansa Systems recently signed a consultancy agreement. The consultancy services provided by Lufthansa Systems will cover airline IT requirements for joining alliances and the use of O&D for revenue management, as well as recommendations regarding essential modifications to existing systems.

China Cargo Airlines signs consultancy contract with Lufthansa Systems
China Cargo Airlines, the leading Chinese cargo carrier based in Shanghai, has recently signed a consultancy contract with Lufthansa Systems. Lufthansa Systems will provide a thorough analysis of its current business processes and IT landscape as well as IT solutions to be implemented by expert business consultants. In the proposed analysis of the business processes, the Lufthansa Systems project team will focus on processes identified as vital for success by China Cargo Airlines. The scope of the analysis includes China Cargo Airlines as well as the cargo department within China Eastern Airlines and the handling provider China Eastern Logistics Services.

Lufthansa Systems implements e-ticketing at Garuda Indonesia
Lufthansa Systems' joint venture with Garuda Indonesia can celebrate its first milestone. Established in 2005, the jointly held Lufthansa Systems Indonesia has successfully implemented e-ticketing for the Indonesian carrier. This cutover marks the beginning of the complete modernization of Garuda's Commercial IT landscape, continued by the introduction of Lufthansa Systems solutions for pricing and network planning in the next few months.

Eurofly to rely on aeronautical IT solutions from Lufthansa Systems
Lufthansa Systems today announced that Italian charter airline Eurofly has opted for Lido RouteManual, the electronically generated navigation charts. In addition, the airline will rely on the Lido Operations Center (Lido OC) for route planning, and the FMS Flight Management Navigation Database Services from Lufthansa Systems. Eurofly will thus use the IT service provider's complete aeronautical portfolio, enabling it to coordinate all related eFlight processes as efficiently as possible.
