With the National Airline of the United Arab Emirates, yet another customer has decided to optimize its network planning with IT solutions from Lufthansa Systems. Other NetLine customers include Air Canada, Finnair, Spanair, TACA and for example the logistics carrier DHL.

Weidmüller selects Lufthansa Systems as global implementation partner for SAP Business One
Weidmüller, the leading manufacturer of components for electric connection technology, today announced that it has selected Lufthansa Systems to provide support in the introduction of the Business One SAP solution at about 11 subsidiaries. Weidmüller's aim is to harmonize the previously heterogeneous application landscape of these subsidiaries. In this project, which has an order value of about EUR 350,000, Lufthansa Systems will serve as general contractor.

SWB Bus und Bahn opts for public transport solution from Lufthansa Systems
PATRIS® , the integrated software solution for public transport, will enable SWB Bus und Bahn to optimize its sales operations and to accelerate its accounting processes significantly. A contract to that effect was signed recently by Lufthansa Systems and the local public transport company of Stadtwerke Bonn (SWB), the city's municipal utility company.

Hapag-Lloyd Flug has opted for the Lido Route Manual, making it yet another customer to deploy the new, electronically generated navigation chart system from Lufthansa Systems. The contract covers more than forty aircraft and has an initial term of five years.

Austrian Airlines enters into a CUTE Future
The CUTE (Common Use Terminal Equipment) system enables airlines to jointly use the IT infrastructure at airports' operational areas, such as the gate, check-in or transfer areas. Austrian Airlines benefits from this system provided by such companies as ARINC, RESA, or SITA both at its Vienna hub and at 16 further stations.
