AiRUnion carriers optimize revenue management with Lufthansa Systems ProfitLine Yield solution
Newly founded airline alliance AiRUnion has decided to deploy Lufthansa Systems’ O&D based ProfitLine/Yield revenue management solution. AiRUnion is the airline network of KrasAir, Omskavia, Sibaviatrans, Domodedovo Airlines, Samara Airlines and SAT Airlines. Serving more than 5.5 million passengers annually, the AiRUnion alliance forms Russia's second largest carrier.

A380 flies with electronic charts from Lufthansa Systems
Airbus has successfully integrated the electronic Lido eRouteManual and the airport and route charts from Lufthansa Systems into the On-board Information System (OIS) of the A380. Since last year, Airbus and the IT services provider have been working on a complete solution for the paperless cockpit as part of their cooperation.

Lufthansa Systems first to get certification by EASA for navigation database
As the first service provider in airline flight support Lufthansa Systems has now received EASA's Letter of Acceptance. This certification enables more than 110 airlines currently customers of Lufthansa Systems' Lido FMS database to apply for use of the new precision area navigation (P-RNAV) procedures at their aviation authority. These precision approach and departure procedures represent a major innovation in flight navigation and will be permitted from October 2005, provided they are based on certified navigation data as is the case with Lufthansa Systems.
