Serving more than 5.5 million passengers annually, the AiRUnion alliance forms Russia's second largest carrier.

August 4, 2005 Lufthansa Systems first to get certification by EASA for navigation database
As the first service provider in airline flight support Lufthansa Systems has now received EASA's Letter of Acceptance. This certification enables more than 110 airlines currently customers of Lufthansa Systems' Lido FMS database to apply for use of the new precision area navigation (P-RNAV) procedures at their aviation authority. These precision approach and departure procedures represent a major innovation in flight navigation and will be permitted from October 2005, provided they are based on certified navigation data as is the case with Lufthansa Systems.
