Succesful cutover of IOCC/Sched at Tunisair

Tunisair already decided in favor of the Integrated Operations Control Center (IOCC) Platform in the spring and is now also a first-time customer for the ICP Platform. The first key milestone in the implementation project was reached at the beginning of October with the successful cutover of IOCC/Sched, a system component of IOCC and ICP.

By implementing IOCC/Sched, Tunisair is taking another major step in the modernization of its flight operations. Tunisair will use the IOCC Platform with the components IOCC/Sched for schedule management, IOCC/Ops for operations control, and IOCC/Crew for crew management. In addition, the middleware ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) and Integrated Control Panel are being implemented for the first time.

"The decision to implement the IOCC Platform reflects our strategy to employ cutting-edge technology for optimizing business processes and for flexibly meeting changing market requirements," explained Nabil Chettaoui, President of the Tunisair Group.

All Tunisair flights in the 2011 summer flight schedule have been available and published for long-term planning in IOCC/Sched since the successful cutover of IOCC/Sched at the beginning of October. Short-term planning for the 2010 winter flight schedule continues to be made with the previous system. Until the final and exclusive deployment of IOCC/Sched the team will be concerned principally with supporting Tunisair in the use of IOCC/Sched for the summer flight schedule and the implementation of the next modules of IOCC/Sched.
